World History Encyclopedia is seeking a dedicated Digital Advertising Sales Representative to join our team in order to help us raise funds to grow our ability to provide free history education to the world.
This role is perfect for a motivated and innovative individual with a passion for digital marketing, who thrives on building relationships and driving sales. You'll be responsible for bringing in new business by finding and connecting with brands who might want to advertise on World History Encyclopedia and managing the sales process until completion of the ad booking.

This position is a hybrid volunteer/paid role. You will not receive regular payment and instead you will be paid a 30% commission on completed sales that you have initiated and closed.
Able and willing to dedicate a minimum of 5 hours per week to the position.
Experience with digital advertising sales and a drive to help our non-profit organization grow.
You are a self-driven person who is able to work from home.
Ready to plan your own sales strategy, find potential customers, build relationships and close sales.
Experience with finding the details of the right person at a potential client company.
Not easily demotivated by rejection (an unfortunate reality of the job).
Native speaker in either English, Spanish or French.
Excellent written communication skills.
Research potential advertisers for World History Encyclopedia.
Reach out to potential advertisers, such as brands and agencies.
Create and maintain a list of potential and existing clients and their contact details.
